  • Maintain a clean, organized, and properly stocked sterilization area.
  • Monitor and restock clinical supplies and notify when supplies are running low.
  • Prepare and organize instruments and supplies for patient care
  • Support the Oral Surgery team as a floater and assist with clinical flow as needed.
  • Provide backup support with seating and preparing patients for appointments.
  • Clean, disinfect, and turnover treatment rooms between patients.
  • Assist Dental Assistants and clinical team members as needed.
  • Follow all office safety, OSHA, infection-control, and sterilization procedures.

Position Summary:

The Sterilization Technician is an entry level position, and no prior dental experience is required. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to enter the dental field, gain hands on experience, and grow within our office. The Sterilization Technician performs instrument cleaning and sterilization according to OSHA and infection-control standards, maintains organization of the sterilization area, monitors and stocks supplies, and provides backup support with seating patients. Sterilization Technicians will also support Oral Surgery as a floater, assisting the clinical team as needed and gaining additional hands-on experience. This position provides the opportunity to learn and develop skills that may lead to growth into a Dental Assistant role.
