Job summary

Interim Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Sterilization Tech for a full-time position in Minneapolis, MN. The role involves processing, sterilizing, and delivering instruments within a clinical setting, following infection control standards.

The ideal candidate will have 1–2 years of sterilization experience, knowledge of medical terminology, and strong computer skills. HSPA CSCRT certification is preferred. Pay is up to $33/hr, with benefits and PTO as applicable.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of sterilization processing experience.
• HSPA CSCRT certification strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology is preferred.
• Proficient with computer systems and basic software tools.

Responsibilities

• Collect used/contaminated equipment for sorting and decontamination.
• Clean instruments to remove contaminants before sterilization.
• Operate and maintain decontamination equipment and perform sterilization steps.
• Assemble instrument sets and trays; prepare and deliver sterilization equipment.
• Operate sterilizers safely and document loads and processes.
• Conduct quality assurance checks and maintain sterilization records.
• Follow infection control and safety standards; respond to urgent requests.
• Perform additional tasks as needed.
