Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a Scientist II to support sterilization-focused research, applying chemical engineering principles to plan and execute laboratory studies, analyze results, and document findings. This on-site role is based at our OHQ Technical Center in Minneapolis, with occasional work from the Mounds View campus as needed.

• Requires a chemical engineering degree with lab or research experience.
• Knowledge of sterilization processes and medical device environment.
• Experience writing technical reports is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Initiate, design, and execute scientific research projects in sterilization.
• Plan and conduct laboratory experiments and evaluate results.
• Develop technical documentation and contribute to patent applications.
• Coordinate interdepartmental research efforts as needed.
