Job summary

Sotera Health is seeking an Operator to support the efficient operation of accelerators and the flow of customer-supplied product during shifts. You will work under the Shift Supervisor or Process Supervisor, ensuring accurate processing parameters and thorough recordkeeping across production cycles.

Responsibilities include supervising trainees, validating specifications, logging readings, and maintaining safe, clean processing areas while complying with FDA QSR and ISO standards.

Qualifications

• Must read, write and speak fluent English.
• Minimum 6 months to 1 year experience in a sterilization environment preferred.
• Must be willing to work established shifts.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds and perform repetitive bending.
• Forklift driving experience desired.
• Computer skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Shift Supervisor in supervising processing operations, including Operator Trainees.
• Reconcile customer specifications to work orders to determine processing parameters.
• Record data in processing records and log equipment readings.
• Monitor control console to ensure accelerator parameters meet specifications.
• Route process documentation to the appropriate person or department.
• Maintain cleanliness of designated areas and secure spaces during operation.
• Perform minor repairs and adjustments to accelerator equipment and conduct tests.
• Support Shipping and Receiving in preparing Sterigenics shipping documents.
