Job summary

BD is seeking a Process & Equipment Engineer specializing in sterilization to design, maintain and improve our sterilization processes, ensuring safety and quality while driving efficiency. This onsite role includes on-call responsibilities after training and seamless coordination with the Sterilization team.

You will monitor KPI trends, update ISO documents, track equipment uptime and OEE, and lead improvement projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical, mechanical, or industrial engineering.
• 2+ years of relevant engineering and equipment experience.
• Experience in a PSM-regulated manufacturing environment (preferred).
• CAD experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve sterilization process systems and track KPI.
• Update procedures and ISO documentation.
• Identify process improvements to enhance safety and efficiency and reduce non-conformances.
• Monitor equipment uptime and OEE.
• Provide performance reports and trend analysis.
• Train operators and technicians.
• Manage projects from initiation to completion.
• Collaborate with QA on non-conformances and corrective actions.
• On-call engineering activities.
