Job summary

Steri-Tek is seeking an Operations Technician to support sterilization processing. You will operate e-beam and X-ray systems (where applicable) and spectrophotometer equipment to ensure products are processed to required sterility levels.

The role involves moving products within the warehouse, loading totes and dosimeters, and maintaining accurate processing and calibration documentation. Strong safety awareness is essential.

Qualifications

• Move product throughout the warehouse.
• Ability to operate the Steri-Tek software.
• Navigate, verify, and select the Product Processing Specification Code in the system.
• Run the Human Machine Interface (HMI).
• Prepare customer requirements for the linear accelerator system.
• Turn the accelerator on/off safely.
• Assist with basic maintenance tasks under supervision.
• Understand safety systems at start-up and shutdown.
• Maintain daily calibration records for spectrophotometer.

Responsibilities

• Move product throughout the warehouse under supervisor guidance.
• Operate Steri-Tek software and ensure correct processing codes are used.
• Navigate the Product Processing Specification Code in the system and verify selections.
• Run and monitor the HMI during processing.
• Prepare totes and dosimeters for processing to meet sterility specs.
• Turn the accelerator on/off as required and safe.
• Assist with basic maintenance under supervision.
• Understand start-up/shutdown safety systems and procedures.
• Keep calibration records for spectrophotometer current and accurate.
• Complete reports and keep work area clean and organized.
