Job summary

Smile Doctors in Huntersville, NC is seeking a Sterilization and Lab Technician to join our orthodontic team. You will help maintain a clean, organized practice and support patient care by sterilizing equipment and preparing lab work under supervision.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and CPR certification; dental/orthodontic exposure is helpful but not required. This is the perfect opportunity to grow with an expanding organization and contribute to exceptional patient care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• CPR certification is required.
• Dental/orthodontic industry experience is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Clean, sterilize, and prepare equipment and work areas per sterilization protocols.
• Keep chairs clean, stocked, and organized.
• Provide patient care instructions.
• Perform laboratory procedures under orthdontist supervision.
• Upload records to patient software.
• Assist in Local Store Marketing and community events.
• Cross-trains in other support positions as necessary.

What You’ll Do

• Clean, sterilize, and prepare the equipment and working areas in strict accordance with sterilization/disinfection protocols
• Keep chairs clean, stocked, and organized
• Provides patient care instructions
• Perform laboratory procedures under the general supervision of the Orthodontist
• Upload records to patient software
• Assist in Local Store Marketing and community events
• Cross-trains in other support positions as necessary
