Job summary

Medix™ in Houston, TX seeks a Visual Inspection Specialist to perform and support visual inspection of compounded sterile pharmaceuticals per SOPs and specifications. You will ensure product quality and documentation accuracy within a regulated environment.

You will act as the process owner for the Visual Inspection Program, maintaining defect classifications and batch reporting. Strong attention to detail and knowledge of cGMP/GDP are essential to success in this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing or regulated environments is preferred.
• Knowledge of cGMP and GDP is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform and support visual inspection of compounded sterile pharmaceutical products according to approved SOPs, specifications, and inspection procedures.
• Inspect finished products for visible particulates and defects including fibers, cracked or damaged vials, stopper defects, seal/crimp defects, fill-volume abnormalities, discoloration, and labeling/presentation issues.
