Job summary

PCI Pharma Services is seeking a Visual Inspection Technician to verify sterile filled vials for defects in a GMP environment. You will perform repetitive inspections, record quantities, and ensure compliance with SOPs and safety directives.

Strong attention to detail, good written and verbal communication, and ability to follow instructions are essential. This role requires PPE use and ability to work seated for long periods while maintaining accuracy.

Qualifications

• Previous employment within a FDA/USDA, GMP environment is desired.
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Basic computer skills are required.
• Basic verbal and written skills
• Able to understand and follow instructions in English (SOPs)
• Must be able to maintain visual qualifications: 20/20 vision (corrected or uncorrected)
• Must be able to work while wearing PPE for all GMP areas
• Detail oriented, and self-motivated
• Commits to PCI standards and ethics

Responsibilities

• Repetitive handling of sterile filled containers while seated, swirling and inverting to identify product defects.
• Records production quantities and other information with Good Documentation Practices.
• Applies math skills for piece counting, time calculations, and product reconciliation.
• Follow written procedures and document results according to GMP standards.
• Perform daily cleaning of inspection and packaging areas per procedures.
• Identify and communicate product quality issues.
• Maintain attention to detail and quality while completing multiple tasks and meeting timelines.
• Effectively communicate with all levels, verbally and in writing.
• Maintain integrity and comply with regulations and SOPs.
