Job summary

tailormadecompounding is seeking a Sterile Support Technician to assist lab technicians under the Lab Manager and Pharmacists, ensuring all tasks comply with HIPAA, state and federal laws, and company policies.

The role involves adhering to safety procedures, restocking labs, performing filter integrity testing, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting sterilization processes within the QMS framework.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Capable of lifting and pulling up to 30 lbs.
• Capable of working with small delicate analytical equipment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety procedures, USP guidelines, and SOPs.
• Restock compounding labs daily and assist the lab team when supplies run low.
• Perform filter integrity testing on capsule filters.
• Disinfect, organize, and restock sterile batch supplies for next shift.
• Complete and document cleaning within the QMS (daily/weekly/monthly).
• Support preparation and processing of supplies for steam sterilization and glassware for depyrogenation.
• Complete and document environmental monitoring tasks for each compounding suite.
• Other duties as assigned.

Summary

The Sterile Support Technician will be responsible for supporting the lab technicians by performing various tasks under the supervision of the Lab Manager and Pharmacists. All tasks and duties must be completed in accordance with HIPAA guidelines, state and federal laws, and current company policies and procedures.

Reporting Structure

This position reports to the Lab Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Adhere to all safety procedures, USP guidelines, and company Standard Operating Procedures
• Restock compounding labs daily and assist the lab team when supplies run low throughout the day
• Perform filter integrity testing on capsule filters
• Disinfect, organize, and restock sterile batch supplies to be used the following shift
• Complete and document daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning within the Quality Management System (QMS)
• Support preparation and processing of supplies for steam sterilization and glassware for depyrogenation
• Complete and document assigned environmental monitoring tasks for each compounding suite
• Other duties as assigned

Working Schedule

• Monday – Wednesday: 1:30 pm to 12:00 am
• Thursday – Friday: 1:30 pm to 7:00 pm
