Job summary

MaineHealth's Scarborough Surgery Center seeks a Sterile Supply Technician I to decontaminate, clean, process, and sterilize supplies and equipment. The role supports surgical services in the Scarborough facility, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 9:00 to 17:30, and a baseline pay range noted in postings.

Preferred candidates hold a CRCST certification (or may be required within 24 months) and have about one year of related experience.

Summary

SCHEDULE: M-F, 9am-5:30pm

The Sterile Supply Technician I role is responsible for decontamination, cleaning, processing, and sterilization of supplies and equipment.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
  1. Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
  2. License/Certifications: Current Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) preferred or may be required within 24 months of start date based on location.
  3. Experience: One year of relevant experience preferred.

The pay range for this position is $19.87to $23.75 per hour.
