Job summary

MaineMedical Center seeks a Lead CSD Technician to oversee CSD Technicians who clean, sterilize, package and distribute patient care instruments and supplies, and assist with transportation of items. You will train staff and perform the technician role when needed.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, CRCST within one year, and at least three years in sterilization and troubleshooting. Compensation includes full benefits and a competitive hourly wage.

Summary:
The Lead CSD Technician role oversees and assigns work for CSD Technicians engaged in cleaning, sterilizing, packaging and distributing patient care instruments and supplies and transportation aides. Assists with training and performs work of CSD Technician as needed.



  1. Education: High school diploma or GED required.

  2. License/Certifications: Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) required within one year of starting role.

  3. Experience: Three years of experience demonstrating knowledge and advanced skills in sterilization techniques and equipment troubleshooting required.

The pay range for this position is $21.97to $29.28 per hour.


Compensation for part-time positions isdeterminedon a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
