The role requires 1–2 years of leadership experience with an Associate Degree or higher and a strong focus on regulatory compliance and staff development in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or higher preferred for leadership in sterile services.
• 1–2 years of related experience required.
• 1–2 years of leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises all stages of sterile processing including decontamination, assembly, sterilization, and storage.
• Ensures compliance with regulatory and organizational standards for sterilization processes.
• Monitors inventory management for cost-effective stock levels and availability.
• Oversees maintenance and stocking of unit supply carts and care equipment.
• Implements and monitors quality assurance programs for sterilizer performance and infection control.
• Leads departmental orientation and ongoing staff education.
