Job summary

Nebraska Medicine in Omaha, NE is seeking a Sterile Processing Associate for the Integrated Services Center. This full-time role on the third shift (10:30 PM – 7:00 AM) involves inspecting, cleaning and sterilizing instruments to ensure patient safety and infection control.

Training on first shift for the first 3–4 weeks will be provided. Prior experience in sterile processing or surgical instrument knowledge is preferred; HS diploma required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 years of age required.
• High school education or equivalent required.
• Written and verbal communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, clean and sterilize instruments and sterilizers/equipment to ensure safety and readiness.
• Provide support to Perioperative services staff and liaise with surgical specialty services.
• Operate various sterilization chambers and decontamination equipment and maintain instruments.
