Job summary

Providence St. Joseph Hospital Orange is seeking a Supervisor Laboratory to oversee phlebotomy across Inpatient, Outpatient and Pavilion services. This full-time role supports development, oversight, and daily operations with a focus on teamwork and patient care excellence.

The role emphasizes leadership, adherence to core values, and occasional special projects to meet strategic and operational targets within a Magnet-designated hospital environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Phlebotomy program or equivalent educ/experience.
• California Phlebotomy Technician I or II license or any listed California clinical scientist licenses.
• 3 years experience in specimen processing and/or phlebotomy with 3 of 5 years as lead or supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Focus on development, oversight and daily operations.
• Supervises personnel and coordinates activities of Inpatient, Outpatient and Pavilion Phlebotomy Services.
• Promotes team concept and reflects the Providence mission and core values.

Supervisor Laboratory at Providence St. Joseph Hospital Orange in Orange, CA. This position is full-time and will work 8-hour, Day shifts.

• 1 year hospital laboratory experience
