Job summary

HSS West Palm Beach is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician to maintain and care for surgical instruments and prep supplies for surgeries in a fast-paced hospital environment.

The role requires attention to detail, familiarity with sterilizers, and knowledge of OR instrumentation and medical terminology; a high school diploma with relevant experience is commonly preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• 1–2 years of Sterile Processing experience.
• Certification program completion preferred.
• Experience with all types of sterilizers.
• Knowledge of operating room instrumentation and procedures.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and departmental supply items.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing patient conditions.
