Qualifications

• Six months of experience demonstrating ability to perform the work or understanding of the work.
• One year above high school with at least 6 semester hours in health care related courses such as sterile processing or nursing.
• Equivalent combination of experience and education is qualifying for entry level.

Responsibilities

• Perform decontamination, sterilization and inspection of reusable medical devices.
• Assemble basic instrument sets and trays for the medical center including operating room assets.
• Operate sterilizers and reprocessors and support case cart preparation.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain proper documentation and labeling.
