Highpointe Surgery Center is seeking a detail-oriented Central Processing Technician to ensure sterile instruments and equipment are ready for every procedure. You will decontaminate, inspect, assemble, and sterilize items while upholding strict safety and infection control standards.

Qualifications

• Sterilization experience or familiarity with sterilization equipment (ultrasonic cleaners and sterilizers).

• Attention to detail and precision in handling instruments.

Responsibilities

• Sterilize, decontaminate, inspect, assemble, and package surgical instruments and equipment.
• Maintain accurate inventory of sterile supplies and equipment.
• Ensure instruments are labeled with sterilization and expiration information.
• Collaborate with nurses, surgeons, and central supply staff to support operations.
• Adhere to policies, regulations, and confidentiality requirements.
• Pursue ongoing education to stay current with best practices in sterile processing.
