Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED is required.
CRCST or CSPDT certification must be obtained within 2 years of start date.
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.

Responsibilities

Clean, disinfect, sterilize, and organize surgical instruments and supplies following safety standards.
Monitor sterilization cycles, document results, and resolve issues promptly.
Prepare and organize instrument trays and surgical rooms based on the daily schedule and procedural needs.
Safely handle and dispose of biohazardous materials while keeping the work area clean and organized.
Work closely with nurses and surgeons to anticipate needs and support smooth, efficient surgeries.
