Job summary

Kingman Regional Medical Center is seeking a Central Sterile Technician to support the surgery department and other areas with sterile supplies and equipment. The role requires adherence to established procedures, attention to safety, and accurate record-keeping.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma (or equivalent), Central Sterile Processing certification, and preferably experience in Central Sterile or surgical technology.

Qualifications

• BLS certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross is required.
• Central Sterile Processing certification is preferred.
• Experience in Central Sterile or Surgical Technology is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Receives and processes incoming supplies and equipment.
• Performs cleaning and sterilizing duties.
• Prepares packs of supplies, linens, and instruments for Central Sterile as directed.
• Issues and distributes supplies and equipment based on determined levels.
• Maintains records and performs weekly quality assurance.
• Maintains cleanliness of Central Sterile areas and attends departmental meetings.
