Job summary

Banner Wyoming Medical Center seeks a Sterile Processing Technician to sterilize surgical tools and ensure OR readiness with compliant procedures. This role handles decontamination, assembly, packaging, and tracking of instrumentation across PeriOp Services and hospital units.

Daily schedule is full-time, Monday–Friday 7:00am–3:30pm with required call and weekend rotation, in Casper, Wyoming. Requires HS diploma and SPD certification within one year; strong attention to detail and teamwork are

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Mechanical aptitude to breakdown, clean, lubricate and reassemble instruments.
• Good organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Decontaminate, assemble and package surgical instruments per IFU and policies.
• Maintain sterilization logs and quality assurance records.
• Interpret surgical schedules and respond to emergent calls from the OR.
• Track instrumentation leaving the area and report replacements as needed.
• Operate sterilisers, washers and inspection equipment per policy.
