Job summary

Qualifications

• Knowledge of surgical instruments used in operating rooms and clinics.
• Universal precautions for safety and prevention of cross contamination.
• Working knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, microbiology.

Responsibilities

• Receives contaminated critical and semi-critical RME in the decontamination area.
• Disassembles RME and determines the correct cleaning method.
• Inspects, assembles and determines packaging for sterilization.
• Performs and documents daily checks and records for all processes and equipment.
• Work schedule: Mon-Fri, varied times; on-site; no telework.
