Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Decontaminate, clean, assemble, sterilize, and distribute surgical instruments and equipment.
• Inspect instruments for cleanliness and function; wrap and package for sterilization.
• Monitor sterilization cycles and verify parameters from prints.
• Maintain records of sterilization cycles and deliver sterile items to requesting departments.
• Assist in training new staff and keep a clean, organized work area.
