Job summary

Qualifications

• Six months of experience cleaning and sterilizing instruments.

• Certificate in Sterile Processing/CS or CSPD is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complies with Kaiser Permanente quality, safety, and emergency policies.
• Decontaminates, disassembles, sterilizes and reassembles surgical instruments.
• Tracks instruments using the organization’s instrument management system.
• Performs inventory and restock of departmental supplies; may lift up to 45 pounds.
• Demonstrates service behaviors aligned with KP Credo and mission.
