The position offers an 8-hour evening shift with opportunities to advance to CRCST/CBSPD certification within 18 months, and the department emphasizes quality, safety and confidentiality in all processes.

Qualifications

• High school Diploma or GED required; must be able to read, write and perform simple math.
• 18 months from date of employment in the department to obtain CRCST or CBSPD certification and move to Sterile Processing Technician II.

Responsibilities

• Performs technical duties related to the department.
• Responsible for quality and safety related to equipment used.
• Performs appropriate record keeping for the department.
• Assumes all other duties and responsibilities as necessary.
