Job summary

Kansas Surgery & Recovery Center is seeking a Sterile Processing professional to support our Operating Room team in Wichita. The role focuses on preparing and maintaining sterile instruments and supplies for surgical interventions, ensuring a clean, organized, and compliant environment throughout the shift.

Hospital experience is preferred, with a minimum of one year in Sterile Processing. BLS certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and care for surgical instruments and supplies according to policies and procedures.
• Prepare, assemble and organize environment, equipment and supplies to perform the surgical intervention.

Position

Provides assistance to the Operating Room staff by preparing and caring for surgical instruments and supplies in accordance to established policies and procedures. The responsibility includes the preparation, assembly and organization of the environment, equipment and supplies necessary to perform the surgical intervention. Performs other duties as assigned. Hospital experience preferred. Applicants must have a minimum of one-year Sterile Processing experience required.

Hours

Full-time position, Hours: 10:00 am to 6:30 pm Monday - Friday with hours subject to change according to department needs

Hospital experience preferred. BLS certification preferred.
