United Surgical Partners International, Inc is seeking a motivated Full-time Sterile Processing Technician for Roswell Surgery Center to maintain all surgical instrumentation and prepare instrument trays for surgery cases. The role requires knowledge of sterilization methods and OR instrumentation, with attention to accuracy and documentation.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• CRCST or CSPDT certification preferred.
• Six months experience preferred; 2–3 years as Instrument Room Technician.
• Experience with all sterilizers (steam, gravity, Sterrad).
• Knows operating room instrumentation and instrument tray setup.
• Ability to prepare reports and keep records.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and departmental supply items.
• Ability to adapt to changing patient conditions and work as a team.

Sterile Processing Technician, Full Time

Roswell Surgery Center is seeking a motivated Full time Sterile Processing Technician to join our team. Our fast paced ASC is committed to producing the highest quality work and experience for patients and their families.

Job Summary

The Sterile Processing Technician cares for and maintains all surgical instrumentation and sets up supplies and instruments for surgery cases.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED required
• Computer skills, required
• CRCST or CSPDT certification preferred
• Six months of experience, preferred
• 2-3 years experience as Instrument Room Technician.
• Experience with all types of sterilizers.
• Knows operating room instrumentation.
• Organized in setting up operating room instrument tray.
• Understands operation of steam/ gravity sterilizer.
• Understands Sterrad sterilizers.
• Ability to prepare reports and keep records.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and departmental supply items is required
• Ability to quickly adapt to changing condition of the patient when needed
• Must be an excellent team player and have the ability to communicate with staff, patients and physicians
