Job summary

Bristol Health is seeking a dedicated CSS Technician to support sterilization, packaging, and distribution of medical supplies across the hospital. This role assists in daily CSS operations, ensuring safety and adherence to infection control standards.

The candidate should have a High School diploma and prefer experience as a Central Supply Technician in a hospital setting. Evening shifts from 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm, with weekend work as needed, are possible.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required; certification is not specified.
• Minimum one year in Hospital or Surgicenter Central Supply Technician position preferred.
• CBSPD or HSPA certification knowledge is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine tasks involving collection, inspection, preparation, packaging, sterilization, storage and distribution of medical/surgical supplies.
• Resolves routine department questions and supports CSS operations.
• Assists in decontamination, preparation and sterilization processes; acts as charge person when needed.
• Maintains inventory and ensures proper labeling, safety and aseptic techniques.
