Job summary

Providence St. Jude Medical Center in Fullerton, CA is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician for per diem evening shifts.

You will clean, prepare and sterilize instruments, operate departmental machinery, and manage receipt, labeling, stock, and delivery of supplies. The successful candidate will hold a National Certified Registered Central Service Technician within 1 year or National Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician within 1 year; 2 years SPD experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• National Certified Registered Central Service Technician credential within 1 year.
• National Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician credential within 1 year.
• 2 years of SPD tech experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Cleaning, preparation and sterilization of instruments, trays and equipment.
• Operating departmental machinery.
• Receiving, labeling, stocking and delivery of supplies and equipment.
• Operating a computer, answering phones and filling orders.
• Cleaning and sanitizing of work surfaces and storage areas.
