Qualifications

• CRCST certification or higher by IA HCSMM/HSPA or equivalent.
• 2 years of documented work in sterile processing.
• 2 years of sterile processing experience in SPS environment.
• US military surgical technician training or VA SPS certification are acceptable alternatives.

Responsibilities

• Clean and decontaminate surgical instruments and medical equipment.
• Sterilize instruments using autoclaves, V-Pro, and washers.
• Inspect instruments for damage, wear, staining, rust, and functionality.
• Reassemble and package instruments according to standards.
• Label and document sterilized packages accurately.
