Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience with contaminated critical and semi-critical RMEs in decontamination areas.
• Knowledge of operating room surgical instruments and sterility principles.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology and microbiology.
• Ability to read and interpret written instructions and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform decontamination, preparation, and sterile supply processing.
• Determine cleaning methods and packaging for sterilization per manufacturer instructions.
• Maintain sterility and safety principles, and adhere to universal precautions.
