Responsibilities

• Collects, cleans, sanitizes and operates all equipment necessary for the sterilization process.
• Inspects, assembles, wraps and labels products processed in the department for sterilization according to policies.
• Keeps all equipment used for sterilization clean and organized; maintains carts and work area.
• Maintains department logs and documentation per guidelines.
• Relates information to management and communicates with staff professionally.
• Acts as training resource in Central Sterile and Perioperative services.
