University Health Truman Medical Center is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician to join the Sterile Processing UHTMC team in Kansas City, MO. The 9:00 AM–5:30 PM shift covers 40 hours per week, with responsibilities including cleaning, sterilizing, prepping case carts, and inventory control.

The ideal candidate holds a High School diploma or GED, plus Central Service/Instrument Tech cert or Surgical Tech program, and has 5+ years of OR instrument experience.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Central Service or Instrument Tech certification/program, or Surgical Tech program graduate.
• Five+ years of hands-on instrument tech experience in the Operating Room.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Mansioni

• Clean, decontaminate, and sterilize surgical instruments.
• Prep and pack surgical case carts as needed for the OR.
• Receive, store, and distribute supplies and equipment.
• Data entry and inventory control to keep SPD organized.
• Be a collaborative team player across SPD.
