Responsibilities

• Select materials and packaging for instrument sets ensuring aseptic technique.
• Ensure sterility indicators and lot stickers are present on all sets.
• Operate sterilization equipment and verify parameters before use.
• Maintain logs and records in tracking systems for all processed items.
• Disassemble, inspect, and repack instruments as needed; participate in recalls when required.
• Collaborate with hospital departments to support sterile processing and patient safety.
