Job summary

Corona Regional Medical Center in Corona, CA is seeking a dedicated Sterile Processing professional for a full-time day shift. The role requires knowledge of aseptic techniques, sterilization methods, infection control and efficient workflow to ensure patient care is supported with proper supplies and equipment.

The department emphasizes one year of Central Supply experience, Sterile Processing Certification or Certified Surgical Technologist Certification, and current BCLS (CPR) certification.

Qualifications

• One year experience in Central Supply preferred.
• Sterile Processing Certification or Certified Surgical Technologist Certification required.
• Current BCLS (CPR) required.

Responsibilities

• Decontamination, prep and pack, tray assembly, sterilization and related duties.
• Maintain aseptic techniques, infection control and workflow requirements; ensure supplies for patient care.
• Demonstrates responsible judgment to provide necessary equipment and supplies.

Responsibilities

This is a full-time, Day shift position located at Corona Regional Medical Center in Corona, CA

Reports to the Director of Surgical Services and/or designee. Area of responsibility to include Decontamination, Prep and Pack, tray assembly, sterilization and other duties as assigned. Must have a thorough knowledge of aseptic techniques and procedures, sterilization techniques and procedures, infection control and work flow principles and requirements: demonstrates and exercises responsible judgment to provide necessary supplies and equipment for patient care.

The tradition of caring that culminated in the establishment of Corona Regional Medical Center® began in 1965, with the founding of Corona Community Hospital. Since that time the hospital has changed to meet the needs of the rapidly growing community. Corona Community Hospital merged with Circle City Medical Center in 1992 and the resulting entity became Corona Regional Medical Center.
