Job summary

SurgCenter of Plano, part of United Surgical Partners International, is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician to maintain and care for surgical instruments and prepare supplies for surgery cases. The role is weekdays only with no holidays, weekends, nights, or on-call requirements.

Qualifications include a high school diploma, valid Sterile Processing certifications (CRST/HSPA/CSPDT or equivalent), 1–2 years of experience, and completion of a Sterile Processing Certification program.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Certification in CRST, HSPA, CSPDT, or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1–2 years of Sterile Processing experience.
• Completion of a Sterile Processing Certification program is required.
• Experience with all types of sterilizers.
• Knowledge of operating room instrumentation and procedures.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and departmental supply items.
• Ability to quickly adapt to changing conditions of the patient when needed.
