Baptist Medical Center South in Jacksonville, part of Baptist Health, is seeking an experienced Sterile Processing Technician to join our South campus Sterile Processing Department. This full-time days position supports surgical services by ensuring instruments are cleaned, sterilized, and ready for patient care.

You will perform decontamination, inspect and assemble instrument trays, select supplies, operate sterilization equipment, and uphold best practices and quality standards while

Competenze

• 1-2 years Instrument Experience.
• 1-2 years Surgical Instrumentation Experience.

Up to $1,000 Sign-on Bonus for Eligible Candidates Baptist Medical Center South is seeking an experienced Sterile Processing Technician to join our Sterile Processing Department at our South campus. This is a full-time days position, working Monday through Friday. As a Sterile Processing Technician, you will play a critical role in supporting surgical services by ensuring instruments and equipment are properly cleaned, sterilized, assembled, and available for patient care.

As a Sterile Processing Tech, your responsibilities include:

• Perform decontamination and sterilization of surgical instruments and equipment
• Inspect, assemble, and wrap instrument trays and linen for sterilization
• Select appropriate supplies and sterilization methods
• Operate sterilization equipment while following established protocols
• Demonstrate knowledge of sterilization principles and best practices
• Prioritize workload while maintaining accuracy and quality standards

Experience Requirements:

• 1-2 years Instrument Experience
• 1-2 years Surgical Instrumentation Experience

Education & Credential Requirements: High School Diploma
