Job summary

Saint Thomas Hospital for Specialty Surgery is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician on a PRN basis to support our surgical services. You will process and sterilize instruments per hospital standards and ensure sterility for every procedure.

The role requires BLS/CPR certification and up to 2 years to obtain national certification (CRCST/HSPA/CSPDT). Prior experience is preferred, contributing to a reliable, patient-focused sterile processing team.

Qualifications

• New hire will have up to 2 years to earn and maintain national certification through CRCST, HSPA or CSPDT.
• BLS/CPR required.
• One-year experience preferred.

• The Certified Sterile Processing Tech is responsible for processing and sterilizing surgical instruments in accordance with hospital and professional standards.
