Madera Community Hospital is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician to support the Surgical Services team. The role focuses on safe and efficient processing of surgical instruments and supplies under supervision, ensuring trays are complete and properly sterilized.
Ideal candidates will have a basic knowledge of aseptic technique, surgical instrumentation, and sterilization, with preference given to those with CBSPD or IAHCSMM certification and up to six months of central supply experience.

The Sterile Processing Tech, works under the supervision of the Manager of Surgical Services and/or the Surgery Clinical Coordinator. Responsible for the safe and efficient processing of surgical instruments and supplies. Accountable for completeness of instrument trays, correct utilization of sterilization equipment and appropriate documentation of loads processed.
