Animas Surgical Hospital in Durango, CO is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician to maintain and provide sterile instruments and supplies for surgery. The role requires memorization skills and keen attention to detail. You will prepare items for sterilization and ensure timely delivery to ORs and procedure rooms.
Education includes a High School Diploma or GED, with CSPDT/CRCST preferred. Working environment involves exposure to typical healthcare hazards and a drug-free workplace.

$20.65-30.66 (hourly rate does not include overtime or bonuses which are not guaranteed)
Education: High School Diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent experience. CSPDT or CRCST preferred.
Experience: Two (2) to three (3) years’ experience in a healthcare setting preferred
Must be able to see in order to read, write, and perform clerical/secretarial job duties. Must be able to hear and speak in order to communicate with others in person and by telephone. Must have manual dexterity to use a computer keyboard and other usual office equipment. Light to moderate physical effort may be required to lift, push and pull carts.
Environmental hazards such as chemicals, solvents, needles, needle containers, sharps, blood, body fluids, various infectious/communicable diseases, infectious medical waste, radiation, and/or radioactive materials and/or radioactive waste, proximity to moving mechanical parts. Protective clothing/equipment may be necessary.
