Job summary

Chandler Orthopedic Center in Chandler, AZ is seeking a motivated PRN Sterile Processing Technician to join our team. This fast-paced ASC environment focuses on high-quality work and patient care, ensuring all surgical instrumentation is properly cleaned, sterilized and prepared for cases.

You will maintain sterile fields, anticipate the needs of the surgical team, and verify instrument sets for each procedure.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required
• CRCST or CSPDT certification preferred
• 1–2 years of SPD experience; some SPD GI experience preferred
• Experience with ordering preferred
• Experience with all types of sterilizers
• Knows operating room instrumentation
• Understands operation of steam/generation sterilizer
• Familiarity with medical terminology and departmental supply items is required
