Job summary

St. David's HealthCare in Austin, TX seeks a Sterile Processing Technician to ensure every instrument is cleaned, sterilized, and ready for procedures, upholding the highest safety standards.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Cleaning, disinfecting, sterilizing, and organizing surgical instruments and supplies following safety standards
  • Monitoring sterilization cycles, documenting results, and resolving issues promptly to deliver on our commitment to safe, high-quality care
  • Preparing and organizing instrument trays and surgical rooms based on the daily schedule and procedural needs
  • Safely handling and disposing of biohazardous materials while keeping the work area clean and organized
  • Working closely with nurses and surgeons to anticipate needs and support smooth, efficient surgeries
