Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician to handle decontamination, preparation, and distribution of surgical trays and equipment. You will work under supervision to maintain cleanliness and prevent cross-contamination in a fast-paced hospital setting.
The role requires a high school diploma, completion of a sterile processing program, and some clinical experience. Certification within 18 months is encouraged to advance in this department.

Performs a variety of duties in relationship to decontamination, preparation/assembly, sterilization, and distribution of trays/sets, equipment, and supplies with direct supervision. Performs routine cleaning such as wiping down tables. Participates in distribution of operating room supplies and trays/sets. Performs all tasks as assigned in a neat and organized manner. Maintains and prevents cross contamination by observing dress codes, environmental policies, and traffic control.
