Job summary

Corewell Health is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician for Blodgett Hospital in Grand Rapids. This full-time role offers 40 hours per week with a 90-day orientation and SPD-101 training, including a preceptor to guide new team members.

Responsibilities include decontaminating, sterilizing, assembling case carts, and transporting them to the OR, ensuring compliance with standards and patient safety.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Certification within 1 year and 6 months is required (CBSPD CSPM or IAHCSMM).

Responsibilities

• Clean, decontaminate, sterilize, and distribute instrumentation according to procedure.
• Assemble case carts in line with surgery schedules.
• Transport case carts to the OR and place in designated area.
• Maintain accurate records of processing steps and comply with regulations.

Education

High School Diploma or Equivalent

CBSPD CSPM or IAHCSMM Registered Central Services Technician (Certified within 1 year 6 months)
