Job summary

Medical City Argyle is seeking a Sterile Processing Tech PRN to join our team. You will ensure instruments are cleaned, sterilized, and ready for surgeries while upholding safety and quality standards.

The role emphasizes collaboration with nurses and surgeons to support timely, efficient procedures. A High School diploma is required, and a CRCST or CSPDT certification must be obtained within 2 years of starting date.

Qualifications

  • 1 year of experience preferred.
  • High School Graduate / GED required.
  • (CRCST) Certified Registered Central Service Technician, or (CSPDT) Cert Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician must be obtained within 2 years of employment start date.

Responsibilities

  • Cleaning, disinfecting, sterilizing, and organizing surgical instruments and supplies following safety standards.
  • Monitoring sterilization cycles, documenting results, and resolving issues promptly to deliver safe, high-quality care.
  • Preparing and organizing instrument trays and surgical rooms based on the daily schedule and procedural needs.
  • Safely handling and disposing of biohazardous materials while keeping the work area clean and organized.
  • Working closely with nurses and surgeons to anticipate needs and support smooth, efficient surgeries.

As a Sterile Processing Technician, you'll play a critical role in delivering safe, high-quality surgical care by making sure every instrument is thoroughly cleaned, sterilized, and ready when needed. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Cleaning, disinfecting, sterilizing, and organizing surgical instruments and supplies following safety standards
