Job summary

OrthoNebraska is seeking a Sterile Processing Tech to support the SPD department by decontaminating, inspecting, packaging, and autoclaving instrument sets to ensure sterile equipment for the surgical team.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, with Sterile Processing Certification preferred and at least 1 year of surgical experience. This is a full-time, 40-hour week shift from 11am to 7:30pm, Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Cleaning and disinfection of instruments and sets.
• Preparation and sterilization of instrument packs.
• Keeps accurate records of sterilization processes to comply with external regulations.
