Qualifications

• CRCST certification within 6 months of hire date.
• Previous experience in Sterile Processing, OR Room Procedure Support, or Surgical Tech is preferred.
• Must adhere to hospital and Sterile Processing Department policies, rules and regulations.
• Maintains ethical conduct and keeps confidential personal and medical information about patients.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and order supplies for packaging; keep shelves stocked.
• Send equipment for repair to the proper department.
• Package items according to AAMI standards.
• Perform miscellaneous cleaning duties as assigned.
• Maintain sterilization records as required by policy; complete other duties as assigned.
