Jefferson Healthcare is seeking a meticulous Sterile Processing Technician to join the Surgical Services team in Port Townsend, WA. The role involves decontaminating, assembling, wrapping, re-sterilizing, and distributing sterile supplies to support patient care.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED; Central Supply Certification is preferred, with 1 year of related experience or 3–6 months of training recommended. 0.6 FTE (24 hours/week) over three 8-hour shifts.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Central Supply Certification preferred.
• 1 year of Central Supply/Sterile Processing experience preferred.
• 3–6 months of Central Supply/Sterile Processing training with theory and practice preferred.

Responsibilities

• Decontaminate, assemble, wrap, re-sterilize, and distribute sterile supplies and equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety per procedures.
• Support Surgical Services team in daily operations.
