Job summary

Shriners Children's is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician to decontaminate, clean, assemble, requisition, store and sterilize supplies, instruments, sets and trays according to policy and aseptic technique. You will work closely with OR staff and keep the OR/CS supply area organized while supporting sterilization needs across departments.

The role requires a HS Diploma or GED and prefers CSPDT/CRCST certifications with 1+ year hospital experience.

• HS Diploma or GED equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Decontaminates, cleans, assembles, requisitions, stores and sterilizes supplies, instruments sets and trays according to policy and aseptic technique.
• Works closely with OR personnel and is responsible for the OR case carts and maintaining the OR/CS supply room.
• Supports other hospital departments with their sterilization needs.
