Responsibilities

• Collect used/contaminated equipment for sorting and decontamination.
• Manually clean and prep supplies; operate decontamination equipment.
• Prepare and pack decontaminated supplies for sterilization.
• Monitor and operate sterilization equipment.
• Inspect items to ensure proper cleaning and sanitization.
• Test and report issues with sterilization equipment.
• Sterilize, wrap, and organize instruments for procedures.
• Deliver equipment and instruments for surgeries and medical carts.
• Maintain records of sterilization procedures and inventory.
• Control inventory, reorder supplies, and track expiration dates.
